A couple of finishes and a BIG Happy Dance

In the last couple of weeks I've been able to finish a few things.  The first one is Christmas Garden by Blackbird Designs.  I thoroughly LOVED every stitch that went into this one and can hardly wait until I get it framed and it's hanging in my home.  (The second and third pictures are more realistic of the fabric color)

The cooler weather we have been having lately is just wonderful and it has certainly re-energized me.  I've made a couple of new starts and will show those to you next time.  I hope you are all finding time to stitch this Autumn.

Some Finishes to Share

I hope everyone is enjoying this long holiday weekend and finding time to be with friends and family and maybe even finding time to do some stitching! 

I have a few finishes to share with you. I completed 4 of the BBD Casting a Spell designs that fit inside my painted box.  These are lots of fun to stitch and super easy to finish so I hope to fill all the empty spots in the coming weeks (Hpefully before Halloween:))

I finally did some punch needle recently and finished this design by Brenda Gervais.  It will make a nice door hanger in my stitching room.

Keeping with Brenda Gervais' designs I also finished this little Fall design from her Autumn Splendor chart, however I did the finishing different than the model.  I purchased a wooden pencil box at Hobby Lobby which I stained and painted. I then mounted my stitching on top and used chenille trim to finish it off.  I'm very pleased with how it turned out. What do you think?
